Chart: Render single data point

Why can't a single data point be rendered in a chart? e.g.

<flux:chart :value="[1]" class="aspect-[3/1]">
    <flux:chart.svg>
        <flux:chart.bar width="85%" />
    </flux:chart.svg>
</flux:chart>

will not render with a console error of:

ui-chart: chart only has one data point so it cannot be rendered.

Rendering a chart with a single value doesn’t seem particularly unusual or difficult, so I feel like I’m missing something. Is there a specific reason this limitation exists?
