I made the STUPID MISTAKE of not asking here what would be the best Nvidia card for running Framepack and Fooocus. I ended up buying this gaming pc - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DW4BY993?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
I started with Fooocus and find out right away that it doesn't work with 50xx series cards, but then found a one click installer for 50xx cards, and it worked, (for the most part) but not all of the features would work. Well, I was "happy enough" for the time being, then I decided to try installing Framepack, with even worse results. After several tries and "hacks" I was at least able to get it to load, and I could drop in an image and prompt, however, it would not produce any video.
I've read just about every post on the internet and watched just about every video on Youtube on how to get Framepack and Fooocus running on Nvidia RXT 50xx series. I'm so disappointed that I spent almost $1,000 on what right now is basically an expensive Paperweight!
Right now I can think of 3 different options I'm willing to try to get Framepack and Fooocus running on my machine.
OPTION I am willing to pay up to $100.00 for a one-on-one Video Conference Call with the BEST TECHIE on this board who can walk me through the precise step-by-step installation process, and SUCCESSFULLY get Framepack -and- Fooocus up and running on my machine. Since I have tried several times unsuccessfully, I wonder if I may may have screwed up something, or maybe don't have the right file versions, or don't have the correct directory structure, I don't know. This is why I need your help.
OPTION What about using one of these other "AI Installer/browser" applications. I'm talking about "PINOKIO" and another one I saw today called "STABILITY MATRIX". My understanding is that you first have to download and install the "browser" then you go online and you can pick and choose a variety of AI's to install locally on your machine. Would installing Framepack and Fooocus that method work, or would I still have the same compatibility issues? I haven't tried any of those yet, I thought I'd ask here first. Also I have seen 2 different guys on Youtube that say they have a "one click" installer for Framepack that works on Nvidia 50xx's, but you have to buy them from their website or on patreon. I don't feel like buying it and still not being able to get it installed for whatever reason.
OPTION Lastly, (and I probably should have done this already), would be to buy a 40xx or 30xx series card and swap it out. I've wasted almost 2 weeks trying to get these 2 programs installed and would hate to have to spend another $200-300 on top of the $1,000 I've already spent on what "should be" a plenty powerful enough system to run those 2 programs.
Although I was able to get Fooocus running with some functions disabled, and I was able to get Framepack loaded, but not able to produce video, I can't help but wonder if all of the tinkering I have done may have messed something up. Also, when I got my pc the first thing I did was to uninstall the browser and games, and Google Crap that was pre-installed and then installed Brave Browser. I did create a restore point before I attempted installing any "AI", and I restored my pc to that point this morning, and I also did a windows update, but still can't get Framepack and Fooocus working correctly.
I would ----> GREATLY APPRECIATE <---- any and All help you can provide to help me get these two programs running.
Thanks in advance
