Upgrades

I am extremely grateful and impressed by the work that has gone into this and fully understand that it is very time-consuming.

But just then it's absolutely incomprehensible why something that works is upgraded before it's complete, so you're left out in the cold with something you can't work with when many of the built-in extensions are suddenly missing.

Making beta versions available is great and desirable for those who want to try out, but downgrading to a beta version without warning is an absolute no-go. I never experienced that with any other open source software.
