Not sure if I'm digging deep enough, but long ago Enter did not start generating, we had no hotkey for that, people asked to add it in AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui#620, this ended up with the PR setting ctrl+enter instead (we also have that hint in the empty prompt box). We still have that script active in Forge, and line break should still occur on Enter (and for me, it does). Do the other hotkeys there work for you? |

Shift+ Enter will be a newline without submitting the input box for generation. |

Okay, someone on Discord told me to remove all of the command line arguments from the webui-user.bat file, and now the regular Enter key works. As to why my command lines would affect the Enter key, I really have no idea. This is what I was using: |

So, I am sure a lot of you know about the extension called Regional Prompter?
Well, even before that extension, I always wanted to use line breaks to better organize my prompts, but A1111 did not support breaklines. In Forge, pressing Enter always starts the generation instead of doing a breakline.
I checked through the Forge settings way back in 2023 and now yet again, but I could not find anything related to that or keybind options. Am I missing something here? I even looked at a few recent YouTube videos at some point since I thought I did something wrong, but apparently the extension is currently broken on Forge, and well.. I clearly saw someone pressing Enter in the text area to create a break line and better organize their prompt.
Although, I think they were on A1111 since their UI was kind of odd to me and they had no built-in extensions on their list, but again.. how can they be using breaklines in A1111 when it was not even supported before? Anyway...
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Never mind:
Pressing Enter on the Numpad seems to do the trick. But, if somebody here still got a way to make the regular Enter key work, that would be awesome, too!
