Remove UI noise

How/Where can we remove these parts?

Try this (took me 20 seconds to figure out...):

Settings => User interface => UI tabs without Quicksettings bar (top row) => Select and add Txt2img, click on Apply settings then click on Reload UI.

Doesn't do anything. Would be rather counterintuitive, adding something to remove something. Maybe spend more than 20secs on it? 😅

As far as I know, Forge was primarily meant to be a development and testing environment, and not a "production environment", so I guess such niceties were never high up on the priority list...

Do you only use one single kind of model or do you not know what the settings are and therefore find them "useless"?

Go into model or lora selection sections and change the type.
I find it extremely useful the UI filters out models and loras.
For example, I have no interest in seeing all my sd1.5 or SDXL loras when I am using flux. (assuming you edit the settings for the lora after you downloaded it to the correct kind of model they are made for)
I also find it very useful to be able to change VAE directly in the UI.

Yes, A1111 does that by looking at what checkpoint is loaded, no need to have that additionally selected. But as I only have SDXL anymore, that's not really important to me personally.

Filter for Flux and you are good to go.

Yes, that's why the Quicksettings are for. But I want that to be filled how I want it to have, no need to hard code something I'm not or barely use or simply not wanting to have it there.

This repo is pretty much made for development in mind, not user friendliness even though gradio is pretty darn user friendly imho.
If you want to have something with the focus of a user friendly UI, you should probably go pay for some of the proprietary ones out there.
OR you could make the change in the code yourself and present it as a PR and give something back to this FOSS project.

One doesn't exclude the other. Also, I don't get what kind of justification that should be. What does that mean, "made for development"? Develop what?

I'm sorry, that's not a matter of priorities, but a matter of usability. It's simply bad practice to force something onto the user and give them not even the possibilities to correct that.

Just because you don't fill it, doesn't mean that it's not an "issue" for others. I very much fill it, and because of this circumstance, I have the "issue" of having a second row suddenly (which I had cut in the screenshot above).

It's 100% a matter of priorities, nobody prioritizes it, and I feel pretty confident to say you are the only one having this issue.

But I have a solution for you: get a monitor with more pixels, because if you were to have a 1080p monitor, this is what it would look like, no need for any second rows.

And since you claim to only use SDXL, why do you have all selected? Plenty of space left for your "directory name pattern"... xD
