Forge running out of memory on a 24GB card...

I have been experiencing some strange behavior on my 3090 vs my 3060. The 'old' Forge on the 3090 keeps throwing OOM when running 1024x1280 gens highres fix x2. This isn't a tough gen at all, my 3060 12gb card will do this without issue with forge.

Now, I'm asking this because I'm trying to sort out if this is, perhaps, a known issue, or if it's what I fear it is: My freshly RMA'd 14900 has already developed the 13/14 gen bug. It's literally been booted twice now with Intel default settings too.

The 3090 throwing OOM using Forge is totally out of character, but then to make it more compelling that I've got another bad cpu: the system threw an access violation error that crashed windows all together. So, I'm really starting to think this replacement cpu is already impacted by the defect, but I want to make sure it's not something I Was missing in Forge.
