Installation on Linux not working.

How to install this package on Linux, Ubuntu Studio, KDE Plasma Desktop?

The files with extension .bat are not working.

A short description would be helpful.

My System:

I've tried the installation description used on A1111 with getting and starting your webui.sh, but this ends in:

Used additional webui-user.sh:

Without the "webui-user.sh" the result is the same, the installation aborts, the WebUI is unusable.

Even if I download the whole archive as zip, unpack it and run "webui.sh", it asks for user and password, then it breaks, even after the correct user and password hace been entered.

Now I've tried once more ...
Manually copied the files and folders from the .zip file

dragged and dropped it to my forge folder

changed the present webui-user.sh:

started "webui.sh"
... waited ...

And surprisingly it's working!
The browser opened at http://127.0.0.1:7860/ (twice) and presented me the WebUI.

I'm glad to have it solved for me, but what an effort!

It would be great, If you could use this script for a default installatiion on KDE systems and/or if you would include it in the installation description.

Remark: this is working now without the question for user:password and allows to be updated using "git pull".

I had to correct the script again a bit to allow to set the desired Python version trough pyenv:
