I tested extensively locally and cannot reproduce it. this is how i reproduce

  1. compile a set of dylibs libc++.dylib from
  • release/16.x
  • release/18.x
  • release/19.x
  1. checkout main libc++, modify the header to make _LIBCPP_AVAILABILITY_HAS_NEW_SYNC false
  2. compile the test and link against with different dylibs produced from step 1 (with rpath as well)

run the tests in the loop
