  ## Goals - Job creation via REST API call and Command-Line Interface - Daemon Runners for running enabled jobs and requested using the CLI application ## Scope This is the first release of `backer` which provides job creation defined by the YAML configuration file and daemon runners that automatically executes scheduled tasks (jobs) or those directly requested via API call by the Command-Line Interface. ## Notes Requirements to deploy version `v0.1.0` do not include: - complete notification system (still it can be included if completed before deadline) - log retention policy (even if defined in the YAML configuration file) - other CLI commands like `inspect`, `list` even if backend code exists
