Some thoughts on Air-gapped Environment

In case of air-gapped environment, for example, we can not download external providers from github. But, we can see the built-in providers: docker, ssh, kuberntes, etc. will download from default github urls.

And, in air-gapped environment, we can not download agent from github.

Is there any smooth flow for these?

For agent download you can use DEVPOD_AGENT_URL environment variable and point it to an internal site containing the agent's binaries. See

For stock providers, definitely for docker and for kubernetes, no download is needed. When added such providers will show version 0.0.1. For custom providers, you don't have to use GitHub at all. Even local paths will work, but using an internal site would be ideal, just host everything there: provider.yaml, any required binaries.
