Unable to add http-email connector v 1.23

I am running the OSS version with the docker-compose file you recommend for testing (with the baked in Postgres). I am running 1.19 on my dev box and I managed fine to get the http-email connector set up. But when I set up Logto in Coolify (the built-in Logto service in Coolify) with version 1.23 I am unable to add this connector. I get a message in the terminal that the connector v0.1.0 is set up successfully, but when I restart to have it show up in admin portal it's not there.
I would appreciate any help in getting this to work, because unless I understand what is going on I am unable to take this further and start using it in prod.

Never mind :)
I tried doing this in a terminal on the running container. When I did it in the docker compose entry point commands instead, it works.
