Feature or Bug?

I have a question. I have already customized my user information in the console, but when I log in from the front end using a social media account (GitHub), my user information (avatar and username) automatically changes to the information from the social media account. I have tried this several times, and it still happens. This is not the functionality I need. If the current situation persists, doesn't that make the user-customized information feature redundant?

Go to the connector's detail page, and find "Sync profile information" option, you can change to "Only sync at sign up".
