Current version on which loklak is running - 2.4.0
The latest available version of Elastic Search - 6.X

I want to check the effort required for upgrading to the latest version and also the pros and cons.

@callowidealist Can you please do some research around the efforts required to upgrade it and also, will the process break any existing functionality.

@daminisatya we can not directly upgrade 2.x to 6.x ,we need to first upgrade it into 5.x and then from 5.x to 6.x .
