How did you ended up solving the timezone issue in the admin? I would maybe like to use timezone on the times based on some stored timezone in a model or at least have the ability to select dropdown, any suggestions on how to solve these?

Basically all I'm doing in the backend is adding help_text=f"Date and time are in {settings.TIME_ZONE}" to all datetime fields as described in https://www.loopwerk.io/articles/2025/django-admin-datetime/. But yeah you could definitely store a timezone per datetime field, or per user. If you store it per user, then you can activate that timezone with timezone.activate(ZoneInfo(tzname)).
