Allow to add diffs

Hello, thank you for providing this inspector tool.
It is useful to see the state of a document, but I wonder if it would be possible to apply diffs on top of the imported document?
I'm currently debugging a situation where I am not seeing the expected edits from my diffs, and I want to have an external way of verifying them other than my code.
