It surely can. If it does not YET you can simply follow instructions at : #41 Then I'd really enjoy for you to post here the files that you needed to use (edit nagaWayland or nagaX11 then recompile whole using the install.sh script). You should have around 7 files related to your mouse of which only 2 are required. Look up this so you may have better guesses than trying all the combinations : Either wayland or X11, just add the line to both and reinstall (it compiles anew every time). You are safer that way if you restart into X11 because of a wayland bug |

Theses buttons are probably using the mouse file. This mouse file streams all events like moving the actual mouse, scroll wheel, both extra buttons on top of thw mouse, surely it is what affects y.our thumb button. I will add a small logging to nagaX11 and I'll drop uou the modified filer later so we can get to know the numbers of theses events. If you want to tryfor yourself it's about the numbers 275 and 276. We simply need to log when it ISN'T 275 or 276 then we'll get a lot of info. Once you find the additionnal numbers, you change to 275 || 276 || 277 || etc. Also if they are not in the 275+ range, like 275 - 262 -> button 13, 276 - 262 -> button 14, 277 - 262 -> button 15. But if we have less than 275 we need to edit the logic so that it does not overlaps with number 12 and less. |

before trying this file, I tried again and I got this new error (in red), yet the config file still applied: then I uninstalled naga, installed it again with the new file + added the lines for basilisk:

Sometimes when installing if you are using the mouse you may have to use naga fix to restart usb or replug the mouse. I've tested under the new update for functions and loops on X11 and I saw there might be issues with top buttons exclusive extra buttons grabbing. Basically it reads all events going through the mouse and we only keep the ones that match criteria. That is only for the mouse file, the other if02 or if01 file is completely captured as it is right now. I see you used And I think in a couple updates I can add wheel click functionnality after cleaning the code up a bit and use better lambda. Basically extra buttons only grabs the buttons you set, which are 13 and 14. Comparatively, you can have buttons that do nothing if not set for side buttons. Can you try the other files ? Maybe your device needs three files ? Especially try any other if02 file to log the buttons and try the if01 files. Also I'd like to have info on which buttons you are trying to remap. |

On the image you sent me I see only side events and no extra buttons (top). Maybe try fliping the files around, place the mouse file in the side buttons and the if02 file in the extra buttons ? That would allow greater flexibility, for a lot of mouses not just razer ones.. |

About the mouse files, this is what I added to nagaX11.cpp:I added all of this at once after trying a bunch of combinations without getting the Config applied, so then I tried every possible combination at once and see what works. |

🤣 only try one line at a time, I will see if we need to add more files support if you need 3 but from what I see 2 are going to work. Now, for the line on the right from the other configs it will always be the event-mouse file The one on the ------> right^ If you cannot find all of your buttons here, which is probably the case for the bottom one, try reading events for the event-kbs down here Now for the one on the left : It will always be a event-kbd From the first image I now recognize it is not working because you put the mouse file to the left. Do NOT put multiple lines, that will help you. Run sh install.sh and keep that terminal open to try the other file, if01 just in case. The file on the right lets all mouse event like moving the mouse pass through while the one on the left does not. You actually have #13 devices.emplace_back("/dev/input/by-id/usb-Razer_Razer_Basilisk_V3_X_HyperSpeed_000000000000-if02-event-kbd", "/dev/input/by-id/usb-Razer_Razer_Basilisk_V3_X_HyperSpeed_000000000000-event-mouse"); Which is what I recommend. Log the events you get for each config and if you get none for side buttons then try other files in the left parameter and give me a list of all the events we get for each tried config. Try to tell me what each button is, I will do some investigation on my end but scroll click doesn't work on my mouse anymore. Sideway clicks do work tho. |

I haven't tried anything new yet. Sorry if this is taking too long, I usually only touch my linux machine at work, and only try to fix things after work if I have some time to spare xD. I'll let you know how my next attempt goes. |

I just did some research into scroll clicks events. By this procedure I realised that my side scrollers never worked on linux, by default, left or right will scroll down or up. |

I tried OpenRazer, Input Remaper and Razer Genie. Only Input Remaper can remap buttons, but it doesn't detect the extra buttons on my Basilisk :/
