@ymind hey! Just wondering, how do mnemonics works with chinese?
Usually I place a & before the letter, e.g. &Ok means ALT+O.

I'm building a new dialog and I need to "manually" set the mnemonic char for JCheckBoxes.

The mnemonic in Chinese software is usually as follows:

	en	cn	description
normal	&File	文件(&F)	F from first char of word File
combination	&Copy	复制(&C)	C is the first char of word Copy

Usually, the &Copty command also has a shortcut is CTRL+C.

example in vscode(the mnemonics in the menu item are omitted):
