Feature and Plan Periodicity Type

I need more clarification on the periodicity_type What does that mean in plan and feature? For example, if I need to create a plan with a duration of 6 months, how do I achieve this with PeriodicityType::Month and periodicity => 6 ? And regarding the feature, for example, what does PeriodicityType::Day and periodicity => 8 means?

The plan periodicity is the way you describe. The feature periodicity is counting inside the plan, maybe you want to set a weekly or daily limit feature consumption.

For example, in a monthly subscription to consume an API service where wants to limit the daily requests, your features be like:

• api-access (no consumable)
• daily-requests (consumable, periodicity type > day, periodicity > 1)

Great thanks for the clarification, yeah that's clear now, what about if i need to create a plan with a periodicity 6 months for example how to achieve that?

The way you described before is okay (periodicity type > month, periodicity > 6). This plan will have a bi-anual subscription.

You can also set a normal montly plan but give the posibility to user to subscribe for more time passing a custom end date on subscribe.
$subscriber->subscribeTo($plan, expiration: today()->addMonths(6));
