No guessing mode doesn't (fully) work

The below combination is impossible to solve without guessing, as it can either have 2, 3, or 4 bombs, and none of the blocks are mutually exclusive

EDIT: Unless, of course, the no-guessing mode makes the middle piece that is completely surrounded guaranteed to not have bombs (which in this case it did not have)

Addition: It appears that (at least in Legend with no-guessing mode enabled), one of the benefits (if we can call it that), is that there can be no bombs on edges. Whether this is intentional or not, this makes the game significantly less challenging.

The field is also split up into 5 lines, and the two block thick line seperating them, also never has any bombs. I honestly think this is a bug, as essentially this large field is just 5 tall boards merged together with 1180 tiles with guaranteed no bombs.

EDIT: Just did some testing, all games with fields above 50x50 are bugged in this manner. (Even 51x50). Also the game crashed when I made a 50x50 field with 2000 bombs and tried to start.

In some cases you can only solve by checking the remaining number of mines. In your case, you still have 296. So you need to continue playing. When you have 1 or 2 remaining you can solve that.

The algorithm that generates the minefield uses a brute force logic to ensure the game is solvable. So, It can ensure it's possible to solve without guessing. BUT, it takes a long time to generate a "safe" minefield. That's why the game may take some seconds to start after you tap on the first square and the reason why I splitted the minefield in 5 tall boards. Generate 5 boards with smaller width is faster the generate 1 single 100x100 board with 2000 mines.

I agree with you. It's not ideal. But, it's better then wait for seconds (maybe minutes). The algorithm is open to be improved, but currently I'm not working on it.

Unfortunate, I'll stick to Master then (or custom 50x50 with more bombs), as Legend is too easy due to this.
