SuperiorTek 5.0 Wireless CarPlay Adapter - CARLINKIT_V4_AUTOKIT?

Hello, Ive bought a SuperiorTek 5.0 Wireless CarPlay Adapter not realizing it did not support Android Auto - the hw appears to be a CARLINKIT_V4_AUTOKIT based on pictures here: https://github.com/ludwig-v/wireless-carplay-dongle-reverse-engineering/tree/master/Pictures/CARLINKIT_V4_AUTOKIT - with the exception the stickers says TPC instead of CP2A..

Does anyone know what FW I should use to enable Android Auto?

When trying to connect using CarPlay it asks me install "Drongscreen" for some sort of screen mirroring?? I have not been able to get it to work.. it will attempt to connect and fail, on occasion will appear to connect, but only a black screen on my Deck.

Strange.. ive extracted the rootfs that was installed on the flash and it has software version, "2022.07.29.1625" which corresponds with a U2W fw. box_product_type also says, "U2W_AUTOKIT". The HW looks to be V4 though?? I'm confused, anyone have an idea?
