Question about copyright issues?

I think this is an awesome project! I was thinking of trying to do my own STEM player emulator but was wondering if a copyright issue exists or how you're handling it from that end? Thanks!

Thanks, glad you like it! The way I see it now, I'm not profiting off of the works of others and am simply developing an artistic experiment. If a proper licensing structure existed for stems I would contribute but as of now it doesn't and I haven't received a cease and desist or any other notice that hosting this experiment is problematic. The official product is reliant on piracy via downloading and splitting from Youtube too so I figure they think the same.

What's your plan for making your own? Is it novel or another implementation of the KANO stem player? This project isn't a perfect clone in it's current state and I might be interested in growing it by making it more developer friendly if devs like you want to contribute.
