Luno MCP Server v0.1.0

🎉 Initial Beta Release

We're excited to announce the first beta release of the Luno MCP Server! This release provides initial integration between the Luno cryptocurrency exchange API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) compatible clients like VS Code Copilot and Claude.

Core Functionality

• MCP Protocol Support: Full compatibility with the Model Context Protocol specification
• Luno API Integration: Direct access to Luno's cryptocurrency exchange API (more endpoints coming soon)
• Multiple Transport Options: Support for both stdio and Server-Sent Events (SSE) transport modes (streamable HTTP coming soon)
• Docker Support: Containerized deployment with configurable environment variables

⚠️ Beta Disclaimer

This is a beta release. While we've made every effort to ensure stability and reliability, please be aware that:

• Breaking changes may occur in future releases prior to v1.0.0
• configuration formats and tool signatures may change without prior notice
• Performance and reliability might not be optimal for production use
• Not all Luno API endpoints are currently implemented

We recommend:

• Testing thoroughly in development environments before any production use
• Staying updated with release notes for breaking changes
• Providing feedback through our GitHub issue tracker

🐛 Known Limitations

• Limited subset of Luno API endpoints currently supported
• Documentation may be incomplete in some areas
• Error handling could be improved in certain edge cases

• Either:
  • Go 1.24 or later (for building from source)
  • Docker (for containerized deployment)
• Luno account with API credentials
