abi-tracker refuses to work due to extraction faiure of the ABI-dump file #25

Description

@rinrab

I'm running the utilities in standard configuration with my install script not doing anything crazy rather than 'configure' and 'make'.

First, I run abi-monitor which did the work successfully without any issues. It produced a valid archive at ~/abi/abi_dump//current/eb38c/ABI.dump.tar.gz.

But as abi-tracker is used to generate HTML files, it refuses to extract the archive without specifying any detailed error. Additionally, the program freezes until the process is manually killed externally.

Here is the output of abi-tracker command (with names stripped):

Detecting date of current
Detecting soname of current
Creating changelog for current
Creating ABI dump for current
Creating ABI dump for lib/<libname>.so.0.0.0
Counting symbols in the ABI dump for '<libname>.so.0.0.0'
ERROR: can't extract '~/abi/abi_dump/<project>/current/eb38c/ABI.dump.tar.gz'

Could anyone suggest why this happens and what the wayforwards to fix it are? Thanks!!
