This issue outlines the main steps required to be taken to join the ML Parameterisation and interfacing routines to the CAM model

Critical Steps:

• Develop Interfacing code - Refine parameterisation and add CAM interface #44

  • Grid interpolation Scheme (linear CAM -> SAM) + tests
  • Grid interpolation Scheme (conservative CAM -> SAM) + tests
  • Variable conversion CAM -> SAM
  • Variable conversion SAM -> CAM
  • Convert variables back to tendencies

• Fork CAM to m2lines/CAM-ML

  • Bring files from convection-flux across to CAM-ML
  • Modify CAM-ML Source to use CAM
    • Set up xml switch for YOG vs. ZM
    • Set up tendency outputs for ZM and YOG

• Run benchmarks.

  • GATE III with comparison of tendencies
