media DB overwrite feature isn't working on android

What I'm trying to do

im using obsidian on my Android phone. I'm using media DB to create my own list of all games movies series books and board games I've played or wanna play. and I add them to their own folder but sometimes I forget that I added a game or maybe even pressed it by mistake and if I already had it in my vault it will just completely overwrite it and delete the old one without prompting me first if I wanna overwrite or not so that leads to it deleting files with their metadata as well. even thought media DB code has it that it should prompt you first if you wanna overwrite or not but this doesn't seem to work on phones.

Things I have tried

I looked everywhere on the internet for a solution but didn't find one I also tried to create my own plugin using AI I created multiple ones but none of them worked they always ruined something.

This is a feature that is in the canary/beta version and not yet in the main release, to download the canary version you can use the BRAT plugin.

Please let me know if you encounter any difficulties in doing so
