Do I have to put the obsidian-utilities-main file anywhere on my computer

I downloaded the zip file "obsidian-utilities-main" from your github. I changed the variables to match my system. so I have to put that folder anywhere on my system so the scripts can be found or are they only for my reference

everything works but the search. for the search I get

the Dj, Dn, t and clip all work fine, but S does not
my vault is My Stuff and everything else finds it but not search

so there are two modifiers. ⌘ which is supposed to open the file. nothing happens. I get no error nothing happens. and ⌥ which is supposed to put my search parameter in obsidian search. it opens obsidian church but it is empty. so I either get an error with the S option or nothing. thanks for your time
