Example app has issues with title-bar + toolbar

The sample application has the same issues as described in issue #563

If one runs the app and clicks the "hide side bar" icon button, the sidebar hides and the main content slides under the window control buttons.

I had started to work on some changes to make this more coherent, but have decided instead pull macos_ui entirely from my project. Just too many places where existing functionality isn't workable, too many patches. I don't want to spend the lifetime of my app maintaining a separate fork.

If you're interested in any of the changes I was working on, let me know and I'll pull them from archive. They were in-progress, though, so I don't think that will be helpful to you.
