Default Map Zoom on QSO setting

I keep finding myself zooming out on the QSO map that is showing the location of a contact. Unless the contact is in a major city I find that I need more geographical context. Would be nice to have initial zoom as an available configurable setting, or a "Wide/Narrow" toggle in the UI settings.

Hacking around (yeah, I know..) achieved this by changing default of 8 to 3.5 in qso.js around line 780

Follow up - I bet this is a USA thing. You people over in Europe wouldn't have the same issue and a default zoom of 3.5 wouldn't make sense. Over here though, a zoom of 8 is a window into a vast country where more geographical context is needed.
