metric output in the new version

Hi Magland,

I'm transferring to the new version. I would say it's easier to install/use and more powerful especially with the sub-pipelines.

I just wonder how I can output the sorting metrics and templates as previous version? In current pipeline, it looks I could only output the firings.mda.

In the old version, I added following line to the ms3.json file:

write_file(cluster_metrics,params.output+/cluster_metrics.json');
write_file(pair_metric,params.output+/cluster_pair_metrics.json');
write_file(templates,params.output+/templates.mda');

Based on those, I could further visualize/analysis the sorting results in matlab, which is helpful for manual modification in Mountain Viewer, which is quite powerful and convenient.

I work it out by using mlpipeline. Hopefully it's correct way. I modified the following in the sub-pipeline "Sort" in "mountainsort3.mlp"
output('firings_out','metrics_out') at line 2

and in the "if (curate)" session:

X.runPipeline('curate',
{pre:pre,firings:firings1},
{curated_firings:'firings_out',metrics:'metrics_out'},
{samplerate:pp.samplerate});

added "metrics" as one more outputs in steps of "curate" in main pipeline

Now I'm trying to figure out how to output the templates.

I started to get farmilar with the new version now with mlpiepline, generating output files "metrics" and "templates"
Currently, the mountainview neither inlcudes the metrics calculation function nor integrates the results file metrics.json generated from sorting. I believe it is under-development and would be updated later.
