I think the first step for this would be that the AnalysisCollection is also available in MDA. Maybe I can revive my PR there with our implementation which looks quite clean - hopefully clean enough for them.

Then, we can try to tackle together an implementation for mdacli. However first we first have to think about an interface and I think multiple Analysis and (!) multiple atomgroups will be a massive challenge for an command line interface.
