This Code of Conduct outlines the standards for respectful collaboration and fosters a professional, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone involved.
We, as members, contributors, and maintainers of 3D-Blockstack, pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:
- Age
- Body size
- Visible or invisible disability
- Ethnicity
- Sex characteristics
- Gender identity and expression
- Level of experience
- Education
- Socio-economic status
- Nationality
- Personal appearance
- Race
- Religion, or sexual identity and orientation
We commit to creating an inclusive, friendly, and respectful environment for learning, contributing, and building together.
Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:
- Being respectful and empathetic toward others
- Using welcoming and inclusive language
- Providing constructive feedback
- Accepting responsibility and apologizing for mistakes
- Focusing on what is best for the community
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, or personal attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others’ private information without consent
- Any other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate
Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable behavior and are expected to take appropriate corrective action in response to any unacceptable behavior.
Maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject:
- Comments
- Commits
- Code
- Wiki edits
- Issues
- other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct.
Please note that an issue would be considered stale if there is no activity on it for seven days. This is done to encourage other developers who have ideas for the same issue who did not have a chance to contribute originally. The same also goes for PRs with more than three days of inactivity.
This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces and activities related to the project, including:
- GitHub repositories – issues, pull requests, comments, discussions, commits, and code reviews
- Community communication channels – chats, forums, mailing lists, and social media platforms used by the project
- Public representation – when contributors or maintainers act as official representatives of the project in any public setting
All members are expected to uphold these standards in every interaction to help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment within community.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project maintainers through Discord or Tag maintainer.
All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
Project maintainer are obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding the reporter of an incident.
Project maintainers will follow these guidelines in determining the consequences for any action they deem in violation of this Code of Conduct:
Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or other behavior deemed unprofessional or unwelcome.
Consequence: A private, written warning and clarification of expectations.
Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.
Consequence: A warning with possible consequences for continued behavior.
Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.
Consequence: Temporary ban from participation in community spaces.
Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation or harassment.
Consequence: Permanent removal from all community interaction.
