Compatibility question DeLonghi PAC EX130 CST WIFI

Thanks for the great work.
Under https://github.com/make-all/tuya-local/blob/main/DEVICES.md one has "De'Longhi Pinguino portable air conditioner" listed.
Digging a bit deeper, it seems to refer to "De'Longhi Pinguino PACEL140LRFK 3ALBK" (see #2221).

I have tried to add my "DeLonghi PAC EX130 CST WIFI".
Pairing mode is activated by press-holding the Mode button for 20secs until one gets a double beep and a network+cloud symbol blinking on the LCD screen.
Pairing is successful via Bluetooth with the DeLonghi Comfort app. After the App finds the device one sets the WiFi info and the Pinguino connects to WiFi.

After resetting the device, I have tried a similar procedure to get the device added to either the Tuya Smart or the Tuya SmartLife apps.
I have granted Bluetooth and Location permissions. Both Apps are up to date. Auto discovery fails (which I understand is quite common). Manual add also fails. I used mostly "Portable Air Conditioner (BLE+WiFi)" as the appliance, but also "Air Conditioner (BLE+WiFi)".
Currently I have two dehumidifiers paired manually in the Tuya Smart app and integrated in HA so I believe I understand the usual pairing and integration flow.

The most logical conclusion is that the DeLonghi PAC EX130 CST WIFI is not supported by the Tuya apps yet... However I wonder how did @hadicharara manage to pair his PAC EL140 LRFK 3ALBK with the Tuya apps... The manuals of both devices are awfully similar and I imagine a company like DeLonghi would be reusing the same (or very similar) BLE/WiFi hardware and firmware.

Currently not asking for this device to be supported... just checking if I am missing something to get it paired with the Apps.

Any tips or guidance would be appreciated

The pairing method does not sound like the method that Tuya devices use. So maybe this device is not Tuya based.

Thanks, noted. I can only speak for the dehumidifiers I already added via Tuya: To get those in pairing mode, one has to press-hold the Mode button for >7 secs, until a beep. The WiFi symbol then flashes. So apart from the time difference, the pairing process seems similar.

Do you mind letting me know the pairing method you were expecting for a Tuya-compatible device?

As you describe, it is directly to WiFi. Not making a Bluetooth pairing first then configuring the WiFi as you described in the original post.

Got it. Probably poor writing on my end.

Both (Dehumidiier and Pinguino) have Bluetooth pairing as first step before WiFi credential sharing. It is simply that their pairing mode is illustrated in the LCD with a WiFi symbol.
The DeLonghi app for some reason performs the Bluetooth pairing immediately. The Tuya-Smart and Tuya-SmartLife cannot, both in AutoDiscovery and Manual mode.

Thanks for the tip. philm5's integration came up in my research but I discarded it as it is not local.

I do not want to take more of your time. I will wait a couple of days for @hadicharara to see if he can provide some light on how he managed to pair his PAC EL140 LRFK 3ALBK with the Tuya apps.
Maybe my PAC EX130 CST WIFI has something exclusive to its firmware that only lets it pair with the proprietary DeLonghi app (making it Tuya-incompatible as you said), but it just strikes me as odd that some units are "blocked" while others are not, specially when their manuals and pairing instructions are mostly identical.

Hello. I did this a while ago and I completely forgot what I did to make it work. I rember using the tuya app and making a dev account as per the instructions in this repo.

I don't remember it being a challenge. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!
