Incorporate CeDaR #5

Description

@dani017

What are the elements of CeDaR we like?
What are the elements of CeDaR we don't like?
What elements would be potential bare minimum must-haves?
What elements would be ideal but not must-have?

Ways to incorporate CeDaR:

  1. Additional Resources Page: Create a page for additional resources. Name of resource, link, blurb to note its benefits, and acknowledge how dated it is (fastest)
  2. Reach out to the people who conducted the original survey to get the data directly from them
  3. Reach out to the people who conducted the original survey and re-send it out to universities, and incorporate it in our way
  4. Make our own survey for universities, send it out, and incorporate it

Danielle's Thoughts/Concerns:

  • If we decide to make a better version of CeDaR, I am worried there might be too much happening on the site.
  • We would have to re-send out the survey every x number of years to keep it relevant.
  • I think the community aspect is priority 1
  • Idea 1 could easily be a priority 1.
  • Ideas 2-5 would require more design consideration for what data to incorporate and how to best incorporate it.
  • Ideas 2-5 I am open to but view as more of a priority 2 or 3.
