I don't receive any notification when a work item is assigned to me

Hello,

I have configured my workspace to assign any new work item to me when it's created by default.

I expected to receive an email when that happens but I'm not. I receive the notification once I manually subscribe to the work item. However, I would expect that I am automatically subscribed when I am assigned to it.

@carlosreig Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention, our team is currently working on a fix to ensure that users are automatically subscribed to work items created by others in projects where they are set as the default assignee. This will be addressed in the upcoming releases.

At the moment, if the default assignee creates a work item themselves, they will not receive an email notification for it.
