Hello! I am currently on an FRC team and am in love with this project, and want to try it and build my own droid. However, I am very new to C++ and a little at a loss in where to begin. Do I print before coding? Coding before printing? Thanks!

Hi @ETHendrix , welcome!
C++ is only used for the arduino to control the servos and a few other small tasks, for the most part that code doesn't need to be changed unless you want to build on the current functionality. The majority of the robots actions are driven by python running on the raspberry Pi.

What would you prefer? you need the hardware to test any of your changes, but it may also be useful for you to understand the existing functionality before you invest in printing. It doesn't walk, for example, so if that is a deal breaker then other projects may be more appropriate for you.
