[Feature]: Saving weekly or multi-day diet plans #384
Description
What feature would you like to see?
Although it may not be easy to implement, it would be highly valuable to support not only copying individual daily meals (as suggested in other issues), but also saving a multi-day plan with a custom name and applying it to a selected range of dates.
A similar feature (but only for 7 days plan) can be found in the "Samsung Food" android app.
What problem does this feature solve?
It would be extremely useful for scenarios where you want to repeatedly apply a weekly (or multi-day) plan. This approach would be far more convenient and flexible than simply copying and pasting individual days.
Have you considered any alternatives?
An alternative, simpler approach would be to introduce “Copy Day,” “Paste Day,” and “Save Day” features. While this would operate on a single-day basis rather than supporting multi-day plans, it would still be very useful, allowing users to build and browse a library of saved daily plans.
Additional context
In the mockup image, you can see a possible approach: a “Save Plan” button that allows users to select the days to include, save the plan to a list of saved plans, which can be accessed through the "plans" bottom tab, and later reapply it by choosing a starting day. An even fancier but more complicated layout on the right of the image, with drag&drop of saved plans on the calendar itself.
The image below shows this feature in the "Samsung Food" app (previously known as Whisk).
