Rules by window type (Tip)

It would be practical to establish rules based on grouping orders such as window type. (_NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE): Normal, Dialog, utility, Pop-up / Tooltip, Desktop / Dock and Splash / Fullscreen. Adding this new feature would be great.

The main advantage of a WM grouping by window type (and not just by program name) has an impact on system consistency. This allows the graphical environment to behave intelligently without having to configure each new application that is installed. Some strategic advantages of this are worth highlighting:
Universal Predictability: Ensuring that any program behaves the same way in the environment.
Layer Management (Z-Axis): Automatically organize window types into specific layers. For example, POPUPS y TOOLTIPS.
Focus Policy: Decide which windows can have focus. For example, define that windows of type NOTIFICATION o UTILITY never take the focus off the keyboard.
Pager cleanup: Lighten your WM workflow by filtering the task list based on type. The result is a clean, fast, and orderly internal workflow.
