Description

I have recently installed a fresh copy of manjaro-sway on a few laptops with the following ISOS:

  • manjaro-sway-25.0.0-251214-linux612.iso
  • manjaro-sway-26.0.0-260104-linux612.iso

In both cases (on multiple laptops) after booting the installer didn't seem to appear so I started it manually. In some cases I was busy and came back to a lock screen that didn't seem to respond to keyboard input.
After installing I had a similar issue, the lock screen would appear but not show a text input/button, moving the mouse would cause it to render those items, but it was unresponsive to keyboard input.
Eventually I figured out I could type before moving the mouse, after moving the mouse the text input would appear with the password entered and I could log back in. I installed wdisplays and found an "unknown" display, after disabling this, all issue above disappear.

Although my problems are resolved, I am happy to help further diagnosis/test new images.

I wanted to report this so others would see it/it could be fixed, and also I'd like to thank you for your efforts in maintaining the sway edition of Manjaro!
