Saving Painted Points

Hello , I have checked out this repository and it is amazing. I wanted to ask how we could save those painted points on the model that we use to paint on since I have an application that allows doctors to paint onto a model as a note and when they reload the model they expect to see the painted points already prefilled again. Is there an efficient way to do this because all I found was the models time records which could have a bunch of duplicates and could be very large in size. Thank you !
