Do you mean negative unix timestamps? You can use bigint for that, e.g.:

mysql> drop table if exists t; create table t(t bigint); insert into t(t) values(-2051246524); select t, date_format(t, '%Y/%m/%d %H:%M:%S'), yearmonthday(t), hour(t), minute(t) from t\G

drop table if exists t
--------------
