While the stats are looking great I think the main reason they look so good is due to dependency updates with dependabot.
These PRs are automatically reviewed and merged if all the tests pass.
You can look at the PR list to see how many of those are.
Having said that, it isn't by mistake that these are automated as I have invested a lot of time making sure there are not flickering tests and that the coverage of this project is high in order to know that when a dependency is updated and all the tests pass it means that it can be safely merged.
The same goes for "regular" PRs.
We also make sure that every feature is well covered with tests and that every bug fix that comes in is also covered in tests.
So basically the moto here is: automation, automation, automation.

Thanks for the response! :) That's exactly what was so fascinating to me. You're right about the dependabot PRs. I noticed that pattern as well when diving into the data, and it actually makes the story even more compelling.

What caught my attention wasn't just the speed, but the intentionality behind it. Most projects can struggle without the right automation standards. The fact that MapLibre can safely auto-merge dependency updates shows incredible engineering discipline.
