Adding a raster image layer is offset, send help

I am trying to add a simple png layer with coordinates but for some reason it is either scaled oddly or the coordinates are somehow off.

The file is generated with Radio Mobile Online and if I import into google earth everything lines up as expected.

Here is my code and I have the CDN imports for the JS scripts. It all loads and functions with the exception of the offset issue.

In what projection is the image? Is it possible that its not in webmercator?
It looks a bit round, like a globe view when the image should fit in a "flat" map...

It might be a bug then, or a precision issue. Not sure I'd know where to look... Sorry...

I don't know much about kml, is the viewBoundScale scaling the png? Is there a way to scale a raster layer in maplibre?

No, but you could maybe scale the png using some phone editor maybe?
I guess it might only smear the pixels a bit...

The size of the image on the map is constant due to the definition of the bbox...

it just looks the same so probably not specific to the layer.

I also tried scaling the image and it gets worse so not that.

It was another protection but not mentioned anywhere. I found a reference in the generated HTML from RMO.
