Using Graphhopper as routing engine for Maplibre iOS

Currently in the middle of building an app that uses Graphhopper to navigate users with turn-by-turn instructions using a custom profile. The description mentions you're able to host your own Directions API, so I was wondering if anyone has successfully been able to use Graphhopper as their routing engine?

If so, would love to discuss this further.

I can tell there's an example provided in this repository, however, this appears to require a Mapbox key?
