How to properly switch map theme?

How do you properly switch map theme from light mode to dark mode? I am using MapTiler as source. Currently I have a logic to switch between two map styles (light map and dark map).

That's the right approach, just changing the value of the mapStyle prop. If the two styles use the same tiles, MabLibre Native should only fetch the different styles. What other functionality would you expect?
