Empty sprites/fonts/styles #2384

Hi all, I have martin up and running with PostGIS and census data. On the front I'm using Maplibre. Now I would like to label states but I need fonts. When I got to http://martin_utl/catalog I get that sprites, fonts an styles are empty. Can somebody please guide me on what to do to have martin expose some fonts? Thanks in advance |

Easy, just point Martin to where the font files are stored (either via the cli arg or config param. Here are our docs for further reading on how to configure this: |

Got it! thanks a lot Frank.
I did run into that document but I thought it was was missing something on my initial setup. If you do not mind me asking, is there any “open source fonts and sprites” that you recommend?
Great product!

Sure, but which fonts/sprites to choose is actually not as simple as always choosing X.
I like Roboto for fonts and Maki for sprites, but the feel of the map heavily depends on this choice.
A different choice might work better for your case.
I can recommend looking at what other people are doing => https://maplibre.org/maputnik
