T-Rec 1.1 Use the SSSOM model to structure and share your mappings

We recommend using SSSOM for simple mappings, which constitute the majority of the mappings between semantic artefacts. SSSOM is a convenient exchange model. The situation becomes more complex when one intends to map different metadata schemas - a normal practice when aggregating data. Instead of considering extending SSSOM to cover for these cases, we should thus find or define another model to represent the complex mappings. This additional model should only differ on the mapping representation but not on the mapping documentation.
