I think the same license as Python was used because cx_Freeze came out in Python's early days (Maybe @anthony-tuininga can tell us if that's it). |

What is the reason for the PSF license?
I would like to package the cx_freeze for Debian because it is needed as a dependency of other libs included in Debian.
This is difficult to impossible with this "rare" license.
Can you change the license to GPL, MIT or similar that is DSFG compliant?
