Hi @RubenJavierBachoAlarcon that's awesome, all the help is greatly appreciated.
I just started this weekend making a simple app with a login. Contribute however you like, I'll try making more issues over time (or suggest them yourself). Make sure to create small changes with pull requests so others see what you are working on and we don't do duplicate work.

For the backend I choose to try Appwrite since we can use that for free. It provides the Auth functionality and a database we can use directly from the client (similar to firebase/supabase).

Hi! Thanks for the kind words and for giving me the opportunity to contribute!

I have a few quick questions to coordinate better:

How do you suggest I handle issues? Should I work directly on the main branch and create pull requests?
Wouldn't it be better to have a development branch? Also, if I had permission to create branches, it would make it easier to submit pull requests without cluttering the main branch.
By the way, Vercel has a great feature to deploy a preview for each PR, which might be helpful for testing changes.
Regarding the database:

Is there any way to view it through a web application?
Does it require admin permissions to access or inspect its structure?
Lastly, if possible, would you be open to a quick call to discuss the project's structure and general ideas? If not, no worries — I'll work based on the available issues.

I think for now we can keep it as simple as possible and just make a clone of main, branch off and create a pull request back to main (and i'll merge it). It is the same flow I'm doing now myself (I restricted pushing directly to main). We can always add a development branch later if we run into issues like this. I'm also planning on simply adding the people that contribute directly as a user on this repository so they can also review PRs and such, but they first should make a couple of commits to show they are serious :)

Whlie developing you can of course just run it on localhost with npm run dev and check out any branch/PR this way. The database on Appwrite is only accessible for me at the moment. It will be one simple table with just a row per card per user and an amount. Once things become more complex I can also add other (trusted) people as users on Appwrite.

I personally am a Senior Software Engineer that has been developing in React, C#, and MSSQL for the last 4 years at a private company, and I have been doing specifically BE development for over 10 years now. I would LOVE to help out in any way that I can.

I briefly looked at Appwrite briefly, and I can do a bit more looking tonight after I am done with work and church.

I do NOT want to come in and start taking over things from you because I understand wanting to own a product and call it your own, I want to simply be able to help build something with you that I think could help change the course of Pokemon Pocket for the community. Hi there, like the others above, I'd also love to get involved if there ends up being spare jobs to go around? I have 5 years professional experience as a full stack dev (gravitating towards BE development), working mostly using Python, Ruby, ReactJS and have experience with both relational and non-relational DBs.

I love PTCGP, but unsurprisingly have found the in app UX terrible when it comes to exploring my collection orknowing what I can give or want to recieve for trading. I'd had an idea in the back on my mind for a couple of months to create an app to make this easier, but after seeing how far you've gotten with yours, I figured I'd reach out to lend a hand instead!
