After some turbulent times for Besson they are now back.... with some new euphonium models too.

Pretty cool that a new Sovereign models is released. I always thought
22

that Besson had abandonded them for Prestige. The Prestige is just to
23
-
expensive for hobby-players like myself... maybe when I am a
24
-
millionaire..

Today when I bicycled to work it was, as always in Sweden this

About 200 meters after the light had faded for the morning I met a guy.
21
-
He had just climed a steep hill and was not in a good mood. He probably
22
-
also was a person very concerned with following laws and regulations.
23
-
So, in a not very friendly mood, he shouted: "Maybe a lightbulb, don't

you think?"

Of course we had passed each other before I could think of any good

comeback. I laughed for while but then it has nagged me the whole day.

This is the basis for a whole Seinfeld episode where George tries to

recreate a situation just to be able to deliver a great comeback.

Instead of thinking of a comeback I started to wonder about that urge.

Everybody has it from time to time, i'm sure. What is the official term

for it? Comebacking? Revenge-urge?

Today I might have to eat my mobile (QTek 8100) and an indian Nan-bread....

I have bet the IT-department at my customer that I would do that if the test-team has finnished their testing in one day (which is the set time).

Although they never has done that before I am still a bit nervous. It looks really big and hard to ... "handle". I'll try to find a loophole to get me out of it... maybe if I made a replica of marispan and ate it really fast they wouldn't know the difference.

Great performances by some great actors also. Lucy Lui was awsome and

the guy (Josh Hartnett) playing the lead character did a great job

too.

The Nationals (British Nationals that is) of this year has been battled out this weekend. And since the test piece was "easier" than usually a surprising result were to be expected.

However this did not happen, but it was good to see Grimethorpe (for all you non-brass-people, that is the band that starred in Brassed Off) take a big title. They have only won entertainment stuff for a while and is such a great band so they deserved it.

When will Buy as You View Cory (third) ever win something? They haven't done that in a while, to my knowledge. Maybe time to turn away from the old style playing that they are into (with fast, uncontrolled vibrato as one of the main feature).

This is also a good example on how hard some of the "easy" pieces is.
24

Since the standard required to win on a "easy" piece will go up every
25

mistake will count and that in itself will maybe create more nervousity

Really exciting and it made me ponder for a while;
18

How is it that when you met some parents and children it makes you feel
19

like you never want to get children of your own and others have the
20

quite opposite effect.

The first group of parents you all know - it's the ones walking three

baby carries on a line, taking forever to order in McDonald's and still
24

needs to go there on rush hour and meeting for a mum-coffee (6 mums

at the far end, children running around.

The other group is like my friends; the children is a wonderful

enrichment to their life but the don't become hardcore-parents from the

same day they knew they were pregnant. Here's a cool quote from

yesterday; "last night may have been the last day we saw Sopranos in bed

without a baby between us". Also I am meeting another friend tonight,

mum since half a year, for dinner - no problemo. They have their own

night "off".

I have [pointed here](http://blogs.hibernatingrhinos.com/nhibernate/archive/2008/10/08/the-repository-pattern.aspx) several times before – but it’s so nice.

It’s an [implementation](http://blogs.hibernatingrhinos.com/nhibernate/archive/2008/10/08/the-repository-pattern.aspx) of the [Repository Pattern](http://martinfowler.com/eaaCatalog/repository.html) using generics, that will minimize your code in a very nice way. I am sure that the FindAll can be refined into something very nice with [LINQ](http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb308959.aspx), that allows you to send a specification criteria or so.
