By installing or using aidevops, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use aidevops.
aidevops is an open-source framework for AI-assisted DevOps automation. It provides agents, scripts, and integrations that run within AI assistant environments to automate development workflows, deployments, and infrastructure management.
aidevops is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about:
- Reliability or availability
- Accuracy of outputs or recommendations
- Fitness for any particular purpose
- Security or safety of automated operations
- Compatibility with your systems or workflows
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
The aidevops authors and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use aidevops
- Any actions taken by AI agents or automated scripts
- Any outputs, decisions, or consequences of automated operations
- Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
- Infrastructure changes, deployments, or configuration modifications
- Any errors, bugs, or unexpected behavior
- Downtime or service interruptions caused by automated actions
You are solely responsible for:
- Automated Operations: All actions performed by AI agents and scripts you execute through aidevops, including any consequences of those actions
- Code Review: Reviewing and understanding any scripts, agents, or configurations before execution
- Output Verification: Verifying all outputs and not relying on automated outputs without human review
- Access Control: Ensuring appropriate permissions, credentials, and access controls for all operations
- Backup and Recovery: Maintaining adequate backups before running automated operations
- Compliance: Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, regulations, and the terms of service of any integrated platforms or services
- Credential Security: Securely storing and managing API keys, tokens, and other credentials
aidevops integrates with various third-party services (GitHub, GitLab, cloud providers, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective terms of service of each provider. We are not responsible for:
- Changes to third-party APIs or services
- Costs incurred through third-party service usage
- Actions taken by third-party services
- Data handling by third-party services
Your use of aidevops is also subject to the terms of service of your underlying AI assistant platform (Claude, OpenAI, etc.). You are responsible for compliance with those terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the aidevops authors and contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of aidevops or violation of these terms.
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Check this document periodically for updates.
aidevops is released under the MIT License. These Terms of Use supplement but do not replace the license terms. In case of conflict, the MIT License governs the use, modification, and distribution of the software code.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Bailiwick of Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
